How Online Quran Classes Work for Miami Families

Ease Quran is not a physical school in Miami. It is a live, one-on-one class held over Zoom between your child, or you, if you are an adult learner, and a qualified teacher. Here is exactly how it works.

Live, One-on-One on Zoom

Every class is a private session between your child and their teacher, not a group or recorded course. The platform is Zoom, the same app used for school and work video calls.

Classes 7 days a week

You tell us the days and times that work for your family, and we schedule around them, including evenings and weekends.

Matched to a Real Teacher

You are not assigned to whoever is available. We match you to a teacher based on age, level, and preference, and that teacher stays with your child going forward.

We Reply within a few hours

Message us on WhatsApp with questions any time. You will hear back within a few hours, not days later.

Finding the Right Fit

Finding the Right Teacher for Your Child

Every teacher at Ease Quran holds a real Quran qualification, ranging from Hifz-ul-Quran and Tajweed certification to a Quran Ijazah, and each one specializes in a particular kind of student: young beginners, teenagers preparing for Hifz, adults learning to read for the first time, or reverts starting from scratch.

When you book your free trial, tell us the student's age, current Quran level, and any preference, including a female teacher for a daughter or sister. We match you to a teacher suited to that profile for the trial class. If the fit is right, and it usually is, that same teacher continues with your regular weekly classes, so your child is not relearning a new teacher's style every few months.

Before You Start

What Happens in the First Class

Your free trial is a real, full 30-minute class, not a sales call. Here is what to expect and what to have ready.

During the Trial

  • The teacher briefly assesses current reading level or memorization progress
  • Your child, or you, tries a short reading or recitation exercise together with the teacher
  • The teacher explains how regular classes would be structured going forward
  • You can ask questions about pacing, homework, and scheduling

What You'll Need

  • A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone
  • The free Zoom app installed beforehand
  • A stable internet connection
  • A reasonably quiet spot to sit for the class
Miami's Muslim Community

A Global, Multilingual Muslim Community at the Gateway to the Americas

South Florida's Muslim community reflects the region's identity as a crossroads between the United States, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Families here trace their roots to South Asia, the Arab world, and Haiti, alongside a growing number of Latino and Hispanic Muslims who have found Islam through the region's large Spanish-speaking population, a trend especially visible around Doral and Hialeah. Mosques and Islamic centers across Miami-Dade and Broward serve this genuine mix of backgrounds, and English tends to work as the shared language even in homes where Spanish, Urdu, Arabic, or Haitian Creole is also spoken.

South Florida's real obstacle isn't distance so much as disruption. Hurricane season runs from June through November, and even a storm that never makes direct landfall is often enough to close schools and cancel a week of in-person plans. Add in the region's dense, unpredictable traffic on I-95 and the Palmetto Expressway, plus a large seasonal population that splits the year between Miami and a home up north, and a fixed weekly class at one physical location becomes genuinely hard to count on. Online Quran education solves this cleanly.

Why Online Works for Miami Families

Why Miami Families Choose Online Quran Classes

Built Around Hurricane Season

Storm warnings and closed schools during hurricane season don't have to interrupt your child's Quran education. Online classes reschedule easily around a storm, and once the power and internet are back, class picks right back up, no lost semester.

Travels With Snowbird Families

Plenty of Miami families split the year between South Florida and a home elsewhere. Since every class happens over Zoom, your child keeps the same teacher and the same weekly rhythm no matter which home you're calling in from.

Welcoming Every Background

Miami's Muslim community includes South Asian, Arab, Haitian, and a growing number of Latino and Hispanic families who came to Islam later in life. Ease Quran teaches every student in clear, simple English, whatever language is spoken at home.

Scheduling

Built Around Eastern Time

All class times are confirmed in Eastern Time and stay at the same local time when the clocks change. Need to reschedule a class? Just give us 4 hours' notice. If you ever need to pause lessons, 7 days' notice is all we ask.

Staying Informed

Parents Stay in the Loop

You're welcome to sit in on any class, and you can ask your child's teacher for a progress update whenever you'd like. There's no private contact between teacher and student outside scheduled class times. Read our Child Safety & Parent Rights Policy →

Yes. South Florida has a growing and well-documented number of Latino and Hispanic Muslims, many of whom came to Islam later in life, alongside long-established South Asian, Arab, and Haitian Muslim communities across Doral, Hialeah, and greater Miami. We welcome every family equally, and since all instruction is in clear, simple English, it works well for households where Spanish, Urdu, Arabic, or Creole might also be spoken at home.
Hurricane season runs roughly June through November in South Florida, and even a storm that never makes landfall can shut down schools and cancel a week of in-person plans. Online classes handle this far better. If a storm is approaching, we simply reschedule your child's lesson, and once the weather clears and the power and internet are back, class picks right back up. No building to reopen, no semester lost.
When you book your free trial, tell us the student's age, current level, and any preference, such as a female teacher, a Hifz specialist, or someone who teaches adult beginners. We match you with a suitable teacher for the trial, and if it's a good fit, that same teacher continues with your regular classes.
Yes. Ask for a female teacher when you book the free trial, and we can arrange one at most times. The trial and every regular class are then taught by a female teacher.
Yes. South Florida has a large seasonal population that spends part of the year in Miami and part somewhere else, and a fixed weekly class at a physical location rarely survives that kind of move. Because every Ease Quran lesson happens over Zoom, your child keeps the exact same teacher and the exact same weekly rhythm no matter which home you're calling in from.
